Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

How can I prevent other users of TC to access a hard disk attached to it?

Two persons are using the Time Capsule to backup their Mac using Time Machine.

A external hard disk is attached to TC.

How limit the access of that hard disk to only one of the users?

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

It is not possible.. Apple do not give sufficient controls.

Any user who can access the TC to do backups will have to have the password for it.. and even if you setup accounts, they can still access the disk.. however they cannot access another users files.

To do this you will need to setup accounts.. and doing that will block users from all access to their existing files.

This really needs to be done before you start using the TC.. or you are prepared to spend the time copying the files off the TC.. wipe it and then setup accounts.. copy the files back again..
