After a remote erase using Find My iPhone, my (previously lost) iPad is stuck on the loading screen and won't respond to anything. By loading screen I mean the screen that is shown when updating an Apple device; the Apple logo with a loading bar beneath it. I would contact support, but cannot get my serial number. It has been this way almost a week with no progress. Any suggestions?

Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-20 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. See if that kick started the process.
I had this problem as well, it occurred when I was trying to restore, the restore process would not complete as my ipad was switching during the process.. I solved it by draining the battery, then recharging it, then left it for a day. The restore process worked and I was out off that loop.
