Is it possible to Remote Desktop from an iMac running Yosemite 10.10.5 to a Dell PC running Windows 10 and with Norton Internet Security installed on the PC? Thanks!

Then a disable nortons firewall and try the remote connection if it works then we know that its nortons firewall fault and that you need to uninstall it immediately, just kidding, in my opinion you should use a different anti virus but if you can't then add a new rule to nortons firewall allowing remote connections, this might help https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/norton-security/current/solutions/v74038782_ EndUserProfile_en_us?q=add+rule+firewall

Maybe it's macs firewall who's blocking the connection, go to system preferences --> security -->firewall --> unlock the padlock in the bottom left corner if it's not unlocked --> firewall options--> here you can add a new rule

Have you tried with a non-beta microsoft remote desktop version?What error does it give to you?

Also I forgot to ask, have you tried with other computers?
