LPX Quick Swipe Comping Audio vs Virtual/midi tracks

In virtual instrument tracks I can't quick swipe as in an audio track. Is this feature not available for instrument tracks??

Logic Pro X, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), 2.8GHZ i7, 8GB

No....


Midi is not Audio and therefore doesn't work the same way.
