I would like to be able to snooze an email to a later time and date when I have the time to take care of the content of the email. Is that possible on an iphone 6 email application?

Email messages remain in the Mail app until you delete them. You can read the email and just leave it in the inbox and it will remain there until you delete it.
There are lots of other email apps out there. Many of them allow snoozing. If you use Gmail, Google's Inbox is quite good, in my opinion.
Does the iphone 6 email application allow snoozing emails to review at a later time?
