what is the wifi agent
I noticed a process called wifiagent located
/System/Library/CoreServices/WifiAgent.app/Contents/MacOS

What does this do in Yosemite? I have removed it and still have WIFI connectivity/
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
The wifi agent is used for creating WIFI SSID accounts and when deactived or removed will cause the MAc OS to lock up when trying to create a new SSID account.
