It also has schemes for when you erase a drive:

What does each thing mean, and when should I be using each thing. Thanks

Heard that OS X Extended (Journaled) is for Mac. MS-DOS (FAT) is for compatibility (PC and Mac) But what are the drawbacks for this.

OS X Extended (Journaled) is for casual Mac user

OS X Extended (Case-sensitive, Journaled) for using with Mac Servers

MS-DOS (FAT) outdated MS file system, can be used for PC/Mac compatibility but with files less than 4Gb

ExFAT more modern MS file system any file size can be used

GUID for modern Macs and Windows PC

MBR for old Windows PC

Apple Partition for old PowerPC Macs
