Disk Utility format types.
Disk Utility has 4 format types on my Mac:
- OS X Extended (Journaled)
- OS X Extended (Case-sensitive, Journaled)
- MS-DOS (FAT)
- ExFAT
It also has schemes for when you erase a drive:
- GUID Partition Map
- Master Boot Record
- Apple Partition Map
What does each thing mean, and when should I be using each thing. Thanks
