iPod USB Device Driver error on Windows 10

Got a new computer with Windows 10, iTunes is up to date at 12.2.2. iPod classic is up to date at 2.0.1. It charges and shows my playlists, etc. Sync is checked. So why does it not sync? Ran diagnostic, no iPod found. Checked Device Manager, it says Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is up to date and working properly. Checked the Events Info and it says USB\VID_05AC&PID_1261\----- requires further installation. Settings Connected Devices also says I have a Driver error. Does anyone know how to fix this so my iPod sync's? Appreciate any help!

I also have this problem. I followed microsofts suggestions i.e. turn off, remove battery (laptop), leave 5 mins, replace battery, switch on, add each USB device (Mouse and IPOD) for me. All devices came up, IPOD synced, showed files then came up with Device Error 21 (Uninstalling device). I tried my WD device which worked fine in same port.

The problem is IPOD related in my view just need a fix so i can get my tunes off my IPOD onto the Library without loosing them all!!
