I just installed windows 10 using bootcamp, I have a MacBook Pro Retina (Mid 2012) and I think everything went through except that I can't connect to any wifi networks. When I click to look for the available networks, nothing shows up, this is on the windows partition. Everything on the mac operating system still seems to work. But when I'm on windows the list of available networks is empty. Any ideas?

On the OSX side, run BC Assistant, use Download Software option only and create a USB. Verify that you have 6.x drivers by checking Product Version in bootcamp.xml. Switch to Windows and install the Broadcom Ethernet driver only from the USB. You can also remove the current driver and try to re-install it.
Do you have a Wireless adapter in Device Manager -> Network Adapters?
No it does not have anything like that under network adapters
You should have a Broadcom 802.11n Wireless Adapter. This is from W8.1. Does your Network tree look similar?
I only have the broadcom netXtreme gigabit ethernet under network adapter
You also have several unknown devices, which indicates BC drivers are not installed correctly. Was the W10 upgraded in place or was it a clean install?
it was a clean install, i just downloaded boot camp support software (another thread that you were helping someone with)

and ran that while in the windows partition and now I have the wireless network adapter. here is a look at my new device manager, do you see anything alarming? or does it look correct? thanks for all of your help by the way
You are now caught between the two worlds, W10 and non-W10. .5621 is W7/W8 and it's Ethernet Driver does not work with W10 so you have a 'yellow triangle' .
Can you right-click on the Gigabit Ethernet and either Update driver (which is a safer method) or rollback driver (you will go back to the W10 driver, which came from Microsoft, not Apple)?
Another option is to run Windows Update, Apple Software Update, get BC 6 drivers and update the Ethernet driver provided by Apple.
If I right click on the gigabit ethernet and update the driver will it change anything else (mainly the wireless adapter)? When I look at it now, I have the option to click update driver, rollback driver is not an option currently. Also since .5621 is W7/W8 and not W10 does that affect anything else on the system?
No. Only update the Ethernet driver, and as long as you let Windows update find it. The local driver is the older version.
So I tried updating the ethernet driver through the update driver method but it told me that it was fully up to date?
