Why does Apple remove the Audio Out with the new Apple TV? It is now useless for me

I am using Apple TV with a Beamer and with Aktiv Loudspeakers that are connected to the Optical Out of the Apple TV.

The new Apple TV will have no more Audio Out so It will not fit in my system. Why is Apple deleting it, just to get more profit?

Really sad for people who like a nice and HIFI solution with Apple TV
