what if you have hairy arms?
will the Apple Watch have a hard time monitoring a heart rate on someone who has a hairy wrist?
I have relative that is Harry. And hairy. I also have a lot of wrist hair and have no problem with the sensors.

It might. There have been issues with people who have dark ink tattoos under the watch sensor. I haven't seen a definitive answer about hair. If you have an Apple store nearby, you could try. Or you could consider using the 14-day return plicy, if you're unsure
It doesn't on mine, but hairy is relative.
