has anyone had a problem using teensafe on an iphone

TThis is a website you log into, and it retrieves the text messages (current and deleted) on your child's phone. The problem today is that they've not updated it for iPhone iOS 9. I cancelled my subscription until they have their website updated. It's very handy, but you must ensure that your child has backed up their iPhone woth iCloud using wifi.

It also requires, as i recall, that you give the company access to an Apple ID. That's a fair bit of trust to place in a third party.

The REAL problem with Teensafe comes when their site is hacked, and all of your teen's information, texts, photos, etc is posted on the web. As it was with Ashley Madison. And it will be. If hackers can download security clearance information from the Federal government's personnel system teensafe should be a snap. The only reason it hasn't happened is that no one has tried. Or maybe they have already succeeded, and are holding the information back for some reason. Plus the fact, as Meg says, that you are trusting an unknown entity with your child's very personal information even if they haven't been hacked.
