what is the level of pressure sensitivity of ipad pro/apple pencil?
Since no technical specs for the Apple Pencil have been released. Nobody here knows any more than what Apple stated at the keynote event, or what they have posted online. Have you tried using a Google search for more information? Every tech site out there has their own information and opinions about it.
Here's the official page:
I have checked the Apple website and review, I cannot find the tech specs.
I currently have wacom cintiq companion and samsung note 4... both have 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity.
I just want to know if the new iPad pro has the same level or higher.. Then I can throw away my bulky and heavy cintiq...
Thanks!
I have checked the website... a lot of flowery words but missed to mention the level of pressure sensitivity... just want to confirm if it is 2048 or 2048+... then I would buy this new iPad pro.. no other information needed... Thanks for replying though.
The point that I was making is that Apple didnt release the technical specs yet.
I have been checking periodically to see if Keynote (iOS) has been updated to work with the pencil. I use my iPad in class for presentations but need to be able to annotate my the slides as I lecture with math calculations. Presently the pencil works about the same as your finger - very large print and unsuitable for writing out a math formula (my colleagues are using Surface tablets this way and I'm a bit jealous).
Does anyone know if Apple have plans to give the pencil in Keynote the same capabilities as it has in other programs? In other words allowing it to write smaller and thinner lines similar to regular notes?
Unfortunately, we're all other users here and don't know what Apple's plans are (and, according to the ToU, are not allowed to speculate).....
