I pre-ordered my 6S+ 128 gb space gray at 12:05 PST on the apple store iOS app... I got a confirmation email more than 10 hours later ... now the order is still "processing" and they have not withdrawn the money out of my bank account yet .. it still says "delivers 09/25"... is anyone's order being "prepared for shipping"?

Polling questions like yours ("Is anyone ...") are not allowed on the Apple Support Communities.
But indeed this processing speed is normal. The money will not be charged until your status changes to at least "Preparing for Shipment". At that time, you will no longer be able to cancel your order online. As stated, you should expect delivery on Sept. 25.

Because this year, there is a longer interval between pre-order and shipping/arrival dates.
