iOS9 & iTunes 11.4 warning

And all this could be avoided with a simple warning before the update 😟

im glad to hear your phone is working fine after the upgrade, mine is still frozen after 3 days,I can't get any answers on what to do??

How did you restore your iPhone to 8.4.1? Actually, I'd be happy just to revert to iOs 9, as it worked fine with iTunes 11.4.

I don't want to install Yosemite.

I like to know this too. I am having issues with iOS 9 since I installed it. I have a battery icon that will not go away.

LadyRose: You would be better off posting your question as a new topic in the iOS9 forum. Also, have you applied recent updates? Those often address bugs in the first release of a new iOS.

You should post this in a new thread - you're more likely to get a solution because more people will see it.

Downgrading is no longer possible.

Apple doesn't support downgrading themselves or in these forums. But if you Google downgrade from IOs9 to IOS8, you'll find advice and methods elsewhere

A bit of an inconvenience though because I keep getting error message - ""iPhone cannot be used because it requires a newer version of iTunes. Go to www.itunes.com/uk to donwload the latest version of iTunes."

So I can no longer sync my phone to iTunes 😟

I have already spent 'too much' time trying to fix this issue, so I think I will just make do for now - a real pity and inconvenience, too, but thanks for your response to my post - I really appreciate it because there are so many discussion feeds to browse through. Take care.🙂

I am having the same issue. Intel Pro, iTunes 11.4, iPhone 5, updated to iOS 9.02, same message.

Seems that APPLE is just more and more ignoring its users. No use trying to downgrade by downloading any ipsw-files or reinstallign - from any internet websites as Apple has closed its signature and so the files are rendered useless. I spent hours to reactivate my iPhone, no way.

Apple is this way casting out all users that are not willing to upgrade and buy their latest products. But you guys forget that we already had spent hundrets of dollars for your fancy stuff which now is no more usable. Wow, this is the "new Apple world", thank you Mr. Cook.
