iOS 9 Safari clear history, save cookies

Cos it's obvious Apple does not give a crap. Every time they fix or update IOS, it's full of crap no one cares about, and at the same they ALWAYS screw up things that worked fine before the lastest update.

I only use Apple on my ipad2, which was free from Dish. Other than this free ipad I would never ever buy a Apple product, nor really care to ever use one again.

I had a iphone 3 years ago, and quickly realized it's not user friendly, nor could I do anything with other brand phones, like bluetoothing and sharing files.

Whenever Apple wakes up and realizes no one wants to be tied down to how Apple wants you to use their product, i.e., you can't share data with non apple products, I can't show my ipad screen on my tv (works fine with my Galaxy S5), Safari is about useless, a yr or so when I got this ipad Safari DID NOT log you out of everything. I could close Safai while logged into facebook, open Safari again and go right back to FB without having to log back in.

And whomever stated this, "when you clear history on any browser it logs you out of websites" is obviously smoking crack. I use Firefox on my desktop and the only time I get logged out of anything is when I tell the website to log me out!

Apple has released how many updates now while this Safari issue was first reported? I cn count at least 4 updates, yet Safari remains broken. That's all you need to know about Apple

II am having same problem it's so annoying having to renter passwords . I can see that passwords still remain listed in : settings>safari>passwords(enter passcode) and then find all passwords listed there . Wouldnt it be possible for Apple to put an option box along each of those passwords to keep that password active all the time ?

Using iOS 9.2.1, coming from 8.3, is proving to be an experience! The "PROBLEM" of having to login again and again after clearing the History is still there! I am hoping Apple's Safari developers are reading this and give us back our easy 8.3 COOKIE choices! PLEASE!!!

I don't get this too. This still happens on iOS 9.2 and seems this tutorial (clear iPhone history)is the only one that works for me. With several clicks all my browsing history and caches were removed completed.

Not only does it do all above ( previous entries) but a bank, for example, no longer recognizes my computer - yes I can re - sign in with keychain but the bank makes you go thru all their secondary security stuff because it does not recognize your computer anymore.

Go to Safari. In the dropdown list, go to "clear history" and use the option key. This should change "clear history" to "clear history and keep website data."

On my iPad2 You get 2 options in settings/safari. CLEAR EVERYTHING OR CANCEL..4+ years and counting and Apple still can't fix their screwup!
