I have some apps I use a lot. They appear automatically on the new spotlight screen (left). But I would like them not to appear here. Is it possible to select whiwh apps can appear and which can't, even I use them a lot ?

Of course I did tat already but the icons of the 2 "most used" apps i want to banish stay in the first place.
It didn't work to delete the icons of these 2 apps on this screen.
I agree, BUT no apps at all will appear if you do that. I just want to select one or 2 apps. I would like to keep having others apps appearing but not those 2. Any Idea?

That is not the question, the question is how to change the apps within Siri recommendations

Yes, but in that case, there are no apps any more that are suggested. I just want to remove one app. It's the same as hide an app in Itunes that I'm looking for. I don't want to hide all apps, but only one. But Thanks anyway for the answers !!
Once you move the slider bar to block the programs you want to exclude, just load 3-4 programs multiple times (I used Messages, FB Messenger, Twitter, and FB). After the programs 'slide off' the suggestion bar, they don't seem to come back.
This is so stupid !!
I tried turning individual programs off, and then turning Siri Suggestions off and bck on without the programs I did not want to show up - and they are still there. I jst updated to the latest iPhone software, and I have the same problems.
There has to be a better way to turn off individual programs in Siri Suggestions.

I just was wondering that myself and I couldn't figure it out, but I did find out something else. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, there's an "Edit" button that lets you remove apps/ widgets, like Siri App Suggestions. That way I never have to see it appear. You can also change the order of them so it's at the very bottom. Click "Done" on the top right when you're finished to save it.
It is kind of annoying I updated my phone to the new IOS and I have to turn off siri app suggestions. This seems like it would be such an easy thing to fix for Apple.. On that note, did you see the Google Pixel? Perhaps they have a way to let you choose which apps you want suggested or not.
Tap on Reset → Tap on Reset Network Settings. Once you are done with above steps, go for hard restart of your device. Hold the power and home buttons simultaneously until your iDevice restarts. Now enable the Siri Suggestions, Siri from Spotlight, Turn On Location Services and setup Wi-Fi on your iPhone or iPad.
1) Lock you phone
2) With the phone locked, swipe left to see the spotlight search suggestions and other info
3) Scroll down to the very bottom
4) Click on the "Edit" button
5) Unlock your phone when prompted
6) If done correctly the screen should say "Add Widgets"
7) Use the red circle to remove the widget that says "Siri app suggestions"
u can go to Setting,General,Spotlight Search,siri suggestions turn it off .
go to settings, general, spotlight search. you can choose individually what apps are included in the search.
IF you swipe all the way left to were the Siri suggest is at and scr all the way down you can edit what shows on Siri suggest
