There is a long discussion that you can read - [urgent]get "appleSSD.sys" error when installing windows 7 through bootcamp .


You need to move the AppleSSD64 folder out of the $WinPEDriver$ folder. Here is an example. Please ignore the 5.1.5621 folder.

Please remove this image. It has your serial number.


1. Please verify that you are using a USB2 flash drive.

2. The USB2 flash drive must be directly plugged into the Mac USB ports.

3. Disconnect all other external storage.

4. Disconnect all USB hubs.

5. Run the following two steps before your next attempt at Windows installation
