How do I find which version of Bluetooth is on my iMac?

I got a Griffin PowerMate Bluetooth controller, and it requires Bluetooth 4.
How do I find what version is on my iMac?
If it's not B4 how to I update it?

Thanks!

Hi,

In About This Mac > System Report > Bluetooth

If Bluetooth Low Energy is supported, you have Bluetooth 4.

Other signs of Bluetooth 4.0:

  • Handoff between your iPhone and Mac is supported
  • Mac is made after 2012
