I just want one folder to hold all of my photos. Not by dates, not by times, not by names. I just want one folder. If I wanted my photos separated I would make folders. I just upgraded the os and now there are even more albums.

me too. i wish apple would stop forcing "helpful" features like this into ios. want badly to delete these goofy subcategories altogether. at least let us turn them off.

So I just got off of the chat with apple and you cant delete these stupid albums. This *****. It makes it harder for me to find pictures.
As already stated, the photos are all in Photos, in roughly date order. They are also all in the Camera Roll album, in the order they were added. These, and all the other albums, are just views of the underlying collection of photos. The automatic albums may be annoying, but they take little space, and you can safely ignore them.
A folder is not an album and vice-versa.
They are all in Photos. Tap Photos a the bottom instead of Albums.
How do I get rid of these stupid photo albums.
