Game Center not working since upgrading iPad 2 to iOS 9

Since updating to iOS 9 have been unable to load Game Center. The application starting in its own just leaves a white screen.

if you select Game Center from the settings menu, just get a spinner.

this prevents a number of games loading.

the iPad has created its backup since the installation, so do not feel like doing a factory reset yet.

OK. So my iPad 2 got stuck and it did not want to start again and then it ran an update to 9.1 after recovering. Since I use 10.6.8 which does not support the latest itunes and my version of iTunes is not supporting the latest version of iOS 9.1 (than you very much) I had to install all from scratch. Everything IS working again though (game center)... Except that no backups on my Mac are possible anymore...

Updated my iPad2 with iOS 9.1. Problem of Game Center seems solved. I could enter Game Center and browse its options. I didn't try access through games. Later I will test this. If problems persists, I will post here again.

UUnfortunately, Game Center was recovered with iOS 9.1 but it does not communicate anymore with games indeed.

I play a game called Hay Day that uses strongly Game Center and I cannot see anymore my friends there. Something is still broken between GC and the games.

Dirceul I had same problem... Apple fixed the connection with Game Center but my Hay Day game is still freezing and sometimes kicking me out. I contacted Hay Day and they responded quickly saying that they knew about the problem and are working to correct it. Hope this helps!

vmar133, since saturday Game Center (GC) is working properly to me, including in Hay Day. It means I can view friends of GC through Hay Day. I didn't test the backup via GC. I hope the backup is functional too. Hope it works now to you too!

We were also having this issue with my son's iPad, the white screen and freezing when we tried to log out thru settings. I reset settings and rebooted etc...none of that worked for us.. Since I also have game center on my iPhone I removed him as a friend and then requested him again. He got the request through his email and accepted it and the game center now works!! if you habe anyone else with gamecenter give it a try.. Have them send you a friend request.. Worth a try
