game center app is not working with ios9

after installing the new iOS 9 into my iPad 2, the game center app can not be started and even the game center setting can not be accessed from the setting menu.

iPad 2, iOS 7.1.1

i have ipad mini too and i updated my ios to 9.0.1, still the game center wont load even i waited for it to load for 5 to 10 mins, still it wont work. some of my games are stuck up too wont open and my other game apps stops in the middle of the game in the end i will just gonna close the app and open it again..so sad ios9.0.1 got this issue..hope APPLE will not gonna make us wait for too long to fix these problem.

seems like a lot of us are having the same problem with our IPad2 and the current

update IOS9. I have installed both subsequent updates which posit bug fixes but

do not correct this problem. Apple will not respond, and my only option other than

support communities is to "buy" chat time to discuss why their update corrupted

my device. Perhaps its time to rethink my long stand on apple products loyalty.

Every "issue" is met the same way, silence until....... well silence.

very frustrating apple. What is my incintive to continue with your products?

Same here. Game Center: White Screen of Death even after 9.0.2. 6plus has this issue while my iPad mini 2 does not. I hope more people report this problem so Apple can put more people on this to resolve it. I have a few games that I have paid for that do not load due to this and I'm sure the game developers want this fixed as I am not spending monies inside their games.

It's been two weeks since I have been playing my games without being able to backup them up. Why is this taking sooooo long? I keep seeing new versions of the iOS but no resolutions. Why is Apple releasing so many versions with this many problems? Are they skipping the QC process? I am extremely disappointed. It seems that Apple's standards have declined.I am questioning my loyalty.


Has Apple even acknowledge the problem? They seem to be silent. Ugh!!!!

I had the same issue with my wifes IPad2 (WiFi) did everything I could think if, looked all over the web, post'd questions. was certainly not going to pay Apple for "chat time" to fix "their" issue! After all, its their update that messed up my IPad, right? Well I eventually called the help center. The fix (for me anyway) was pretty simple. (I had already installed the update) 1. Back up your device! 2. reset your device to factory settings. 3. restore your device from the backup. They said this should be SOP with new updates. The only thing I should have done and didnt was backup the device before I install'd the update. Now Im back to playing my games ad my Game Center is operating as it should.

FIrst let me say I am by no means an expert. I usually go to the experts (Apple) and if they give me something useful

I take a moment and pass it on. as for your ringtones, did you buy them from Itunes? if so, they can help you get them back!

If you got them elsewhere or made them, you may have to use the loss as a motivator to "back up" your device so you dont

lose them again. thats all I know. hope it helps.
