iOS9 Airdrop to Mac not working

Trying to connect iPhone 6+ iOS9 to 2013 iMac OS X 10.10.5 via Airdrop but not showing up on iMac or iPhone, worked perfectly before iOS 9.

iPhone can Airdrop to another iPhone and iMac can Airdrop to another Mac, but not iPhone to/from Mac.

iOS update was originally done OTA and have reinstalled through iTunes.

Have tried all suggestions I have come across but still they won't connect.

Anyone have similar problems?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), 21.5 in 2.9GHZ i5 16 GB

For people having AirDrop troubles after updating to iOS 9, one thing to check is if you have a Me card in the Contacts app that contains your email address or phone number.

If you don’t, try creating a Me card for yourself that includes your iCloud email address and/or iPhone phone number, then turn off the iOS 9 device and turn it back on, and see if that helps.

Strange. I do not have it 🙂 In previous iOS there was Me... How to set it Me? I still have my own name in the contacts , but it is not "named" Me? Shall I add new contact Me, duplicating the original byname contact ? It is better to do it via Safari's iCloud.com or, on my iPhone or iMac?

EDIT: I just add new contact with name "Me" and put my phone and email. And bump - the AirDrop start working :-)))))) Encourage everybody to do this.

I Had and have my own name Konstantin in the contacts with my details. But the airdrop does not work. When I add one more contact with name Me - and my phone and email - the airdrop start working. of you do not have Me (but just your name) - do you have airdrop with the iMac ?

by the way - I check now an old iPhone with iOS 8.4 - it shows Me on the top of the contacts. (Additional to the owners separate contact).

5) Disabled firewaal, enabled bluetooth sharing > Doesn't work

6) Logout on every app like facetime, imessage, itunes > Doesn't work
