Stuck in an infinite loading screen loop after updating to ios 9

Hi,

I am currently stuck in a infinite loading screen loop. It doesnt even go into to the "slide to upgrade" screen. I had that "slide to upgrade" screen earler when i was updating from ios7 to ios9. i tried to solve that issue by downgrading to ios 8.4.1 and then restoring from backup.

Issue was that itunes has to overwrite my first backup (pre-ios9 update, ios7 backup; i didnt see it backing up...) with a backup after i updated to ios9 and this caused me to not be able to restore the backup (ios 9 backup) as the os wasnt new enough for the backup. So, i set it up as a new phone and updated it to ios9 and then restored the backup (ios 9 backup) which led me to my current problem.

I'm just wondering if i'm stuck waiting for apple to fix this or are there any other ways around this?

Sometimes it helps to do another restore. If this doesn't work you could try using a third party software to extract the data you have in your back up. Perhaps its not the best solution but a last resort not to loose your data. Just make sure to use good software from a reliable source and backup your backup. Perhaps this article will help you :

Hi Monstermoster,

Sadly, i do not have an ipad nor an ipod, so i cant try the first link out.

As for the other two links, i've read and tried the steps and they dont work for me.

Yea, i'm considering using a third party extractor but only if i really need to (they are expensive) or if apple says there's no fix to this issue, hopefully not.

Currently im making do with dropbox importing pictures from my phone (luckily as im most worried about losing them), somehow it is still doing it. Not sure if i can import videos/recordings too.

Hello! It doesn't matter if you have an iPad or an iPhone, the articles describes how to use third party software to extract data. This article describes how to transfer photos and videos to your computer:

I'm sorry to hear that the issue remains, in worst case scenerio your back up migth be broken. Best scenario: you just haveto try again/another computer or wait for another ios update.
