having to continuously enter passcode on watch
Since IOS 9 I find that every few minutes my watch is locked and requires my passcode. Anyone else having this problem?

Are you wearing the watch snugly on your wrist?
If you have Wrist Detection enabled, your watch will lock automatically when it is removed (or thinks it has been removed) from your wrist. A loose fitting band can trigger this by allowing the watch to temporarily lose contact with your skin.
Although your query is on a related subject, it is different to the OP's question (which has already been answered / marked as solved). A different question should be asked in a new thread. If others later have the same query, this also makes it easier for them to find - hopefully along with an answer.

Hi Julie
Try restarting - or, if that doesn't work, force restarting - your Apple Watch:
- Restart Apple Watch: Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; Drag the slider to turn off completely; Afterwards, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
- Force restart Apple Watch: press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for around 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
Julie
I have the 42mm watch and I have the same problem. I have paired the watch multiple times; have re-paired the watch from a back-up and as a new watch. I have rebooted my phone and my watch...Pretty much everything. I have spoken to 2 other people who have the same problem. It has nothing to do with the snugness of the band.
I went to the Apple store and they sent the watch in to be repaired...
It's now been a week and I can't seem to get an answer from Apple as to when I might get my watch back. The whole process has been very un-Applelike
Good luck

Having the same problem (eg frequent unlocking) does not always mean that you have the same cause (eg potential hardware issue).
When Wrist Detection is enabled, wearing Apple Watch sufficiently loosely will certainly cause it to lock.
We have started with one potential cause that is easy to check - and Julie indicated that it resolved her issue. If that later turns out not to be the cause, there are other steps to try (as you have done), potentially concluding (as in your case) with having the watch checked under warranty.
I hope that your own issue is resolved soon.
Had watch for 4 days, worked perfect, then it just started to ask for pass code every single time I did anything, and yes I have it snug, I cleaned the back, switch wrists, I have no tattoos. I restored the watch and it started back up again. I have hard reset the watch. I get nothing sent from phone, the watch does not unlock when I unlock phone. The phone sees the watch, I can see the battery level on notification screen but the watch continues to lock and ask for passcode each and every time I flip my wrist.
Thanks Jonathan, I did that yesterday and it seemed to be OK for the rest of the day, but today it started to require my passcode often. Since I posted my problem it has not happened?????
