On iOS 9 now. Calendars and contacts won't sync (exchange, iCloud, gmail or subscribed iCal).

Same problem. Are you running apple server software and CalDAV?

Try this: Deaktivate and reaktivate in iTunes calendar sync.

had the same, and found this solution:

1/ remove your gmail account

2/ add your gmail account again

Hi. I'm on iphone 5s. My ical, contacts (apple contacts) and notes (apple) won't sync. I turned off contacts in iCloud sync on the phone, and it deleted the contacts on my phone. Then I turned the iCloud sync back on, and it's been two hours. No refreshing has occurred. iOS9.1 on phone

I Am having the same problem. An iCal subscribed calendar is not syncing. I tried deleting it and reading it but now it does not show up in the calendar app even though it is in the settings under subscribed calendars. With my other subscribed calendar each time I try to view it in settings it crashes and takes me to the home screen. I am running iOS 9.01 (or the first update to iOS 9) and have a 5s.

Go to Setting | iCloud | (scoll the the bottom, Sign Out)

Then in Setting | General | Reset | Reset Network Settings

Phone should restart...

Once restart...

Go to Setting | iCloud | Log back into your iCloud account again... then things should start syncing again (at least for me it did anyway).

thanks for the idea! i didn't sign out of iCloud because only gmail calendar sync wasn't working, so i just reseted network setting and as soon as iPhone restarted gmail calendar appeared! yay! 🙂 🙂

I Updated to 9.0.2 just now and this update still has not fixed the syncing issue with iCal subscribed calendars or google calendars on my iPhone 5s. They both synce correctly on my ipad

No sync with Google contacts or Calendar.

They don't even appear on the list of calendars (within a few calendar apps I'm using).

Also, I can't set google contacts to be the default contact (not appearing on the list)
