Spotlight doesn't search my contacts in iOS 9

Someone on here suggested going into your Contacts and hitting "groups" on the top left then clicking on "show all contacts". That worked for me. Now I can search Mary and all 6 Mary's come up, not ZERO! (I also undid the Facebook and just kept the icloud and it still worked)
