Mobile data toggles for apps in settings will not stay turned on after iOS 9 update.

I've had the same problem since upgrading to iOS 9. Tried everything but a factory restore to no avail. Update did not help. Spoke to Apple today and they said there was nothing that could be done but a factory restore. Given others continued problem after factory restore, I am loath to do this. APPLE--PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

Same problem here since updating 3 days ago!

I cant toggle cell-data on for any that were off during the upgrade, but I can toggle off and back on for anything that was on during the upgrade.

Extremely frustrating, hope there is a fix soon!!!

I am having the same problem and in a new city it is hard to navigate without using google maps.

some posts suggest the toggle problem existed for previous iOS updates too....and someone had to jailbreak their phone.

hope this fix this because it stops people from doing the most important thing on their iPhone ...data.

mine is an iPhone 6, so it's a problem for other phones too.

I have the same problem.

I spoke with Apple Support today and I was told I have to wipe everything out and put the phone back to factory settings and then manually add everything back in. They told me that if I use a back up it will just bring back the problem because the problem is in the settings which is saved in the backup along with the data.

I asked them "How do I restore just the data?". I was told "you can copy your photos onto your computer, everything else you have to enter manually". I asked "What about my data? I have Text messages and other data saved and I need them for legal reasons, my work info?". I was told " Sorry, I can't help you with that."

I asked what about you guys making an update that will fix the problem. I was asked "What do you mean?"

Dear friends, I had same problem. My phone is 5s and after updating to iOS 9 the problem was seen.

Solution:

First I do full reset (erase all component and settings) my phone. Before that switch OFF the find my iphone in icloud. After resetting, when asked to restore, I select the option (from all previous restore points) which was the time before I have updated to iOS 9. Then I found my problem solved.
