Calendars not syncing after watchOS 2 update?

Successful 2.0 update. iPhone 6 (iOS 9).

Calendars (iCloud, Gmail, and Exchange) not syncing.

  • Unpaired and reset as new
  • Turned off and deleted calendars; turned them back on
  • Multiple reboots
  • Reset sync data multiple times

None of these fix attempts work. I have read that there may be some MDM-related issues.

Also facing the same issue and waiting for an answer on my case open since last Thursday (being managed by the engineer team in the US). Really disappointed with this situation since I got my Watch around 2 weeks ago and so far had no conditions to fully experience the device. It is important to remember that corporate users can not simply reset/erase their devices every time that Apple requires. An appropriate testing management for corporate environments should be put in place to avoid this frustrating situation.

The Fantastical app has been updated to add complications, but they are now using the on board calendar app on the watch instead of the phone. so, now it mirrors the broken calendar app on the phone. It was working before the latest update, and now it's broke. Too bad they feed it off the calendar app on the phone because that isn't syncing properly with the phone.

To advise Apple that you are also experiencing this issue, either contact support:

Or submit feedback (all submissions are read, but you should not expect to receive a reply):

I just got off the phone with Apple Support.

I had the same issue, but do not have MDM restriction on my phone.

On a fluke, we went on my Iphone to Settings>General>Restrictions and toggled to OFF.

Since then, Exchange Calendar appointments reappeared on my watch - the tech guy suspects it has something to do with restrictions on handing off documents from Phone to watch, but there is no apparent way to modify it within Restrictions Settings. By toggling all restrictions to Off - seems to have solved the problem for me. Only caveat would be if you actually need restrictions on your device, then your issue might not be solved....

UPDATE:

Not all Exchange entries are showing - this is very odd.
