I'm Maulik Jadvani from Gujarat, India and I own an iPhone 5S. After updating to latest iOS 9 the (inbuilt) contact is not working on my phone, when I press Phone icon I just see white scree ( see attached image ) & if I try to goto to contact or keypad the app crashed.
I'M NOT ABLE TO MAKE A CALL OR CANT SEE MY RECENT CALL LOG. PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE

Try to reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on this device.
Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

If this does not help, restore your device to factory settings. Note that this will erase the data from your device.

Yes it works but temporarily(iPhone6). This issue is intermittent and I am afraid if restore is the only way to try as all these workarounds resolve the issue for some time.
Time display gets distorted and touch doesn't work in contacts(sometimes it doesn't show anything as described in original post).
Force restart and reset does the job but again I'd say "temporarily" :-(
I hope Apple Inc. gives some patch for this too as we all know iOS9 has been proven most problematic OS so far. Within 15 days, 2 patches have been proposed.
