Apple Pay Trouble

Hello,

I'm having some trouble with Apple Pay on my iPhone 6. When I hold it up to the POS, it prompts me for my Touch ID, but when I press my finger down, it just says 'Touch ID or Passcode Required to Pay'. I've tried removing my card and re-adding it, as well as restarting my iphone, but no luck. I've also tried paying with my PIN but that does not work either. I am running ios 9.0.1. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi

Check that you have Touch ID configured correctly. Go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode:

- Check that Touch ID is enabled for Apple Pay (and for other options, if desired).

- Check which fingerprint in the list belongs with which of your fingers or thumbs by touching (not pressing) the Home button. The matching print in the list will be highlighted briefly.

- Enroll up to five fingerprints.

- Tap a fingerprint to rename it.

- Swipe to delete a fingerprint.

When prompted to use Touch ID when paying, you should not press the Home button - just rest your finger lightly on it whilst still holding the top of your iPhone within an inch / 2.5 cm of the contactless reader.
