I need to clean up my Mac. What program is the best for finding duplicate files and photos? Apparently Gemini does not work for photo's and I need a program to do both files and photo's.

I use EasyFind constantly (I hate Spotlight for locating files or folders). But it does lack a way to track down duplicates. For that, I use File Buddy. It's a shareware app, but I believe will run in demo mode for a set amount of time.
Once you launch it, choose Cleaning > Find Duplicate Files… from the menu bar to open this dialogue box.
Choose what you want it to look for as for as matching criteria. Click the + button to add as many volumes as you want it to search on. Here I added the partition Yosemite.
See if you can find the files using this program. If you go Finder/View/Show Path Bar, it will show you where it is located.
I use Dupeguru I have not been able to use Easyfind to find files, and I am not sure how to use it to find exact duplicate files.
