iPhone 6s - Calculator App Crashes When Opened From Lock Screen

The fix is coming. Be patient.

Do you have that on some authority PhilC50 or just a guess that a fix will be found eventually.

I was having the same problem. tried a hard reboot, reformat then restore backup, same problem. did another restore to factory settings, and now all is well with the phone.

one question: how can this happen? did noone try this out? (or look at the distortion in wallet for that matter)

I have the exact same problem myself! I upgraded from an iPhone 5S to a 6S and noticed the problem when I tried to access the calculator and it was driving me nuts. I tested on my 5S and everything was working fine so I deduced that the problem lay with the profile transfer from the 5S to the 6S. So I did a test and set it up as a new iPhone and everything worked properly. I wanted my phone to work properly so I ended up leaving it as a new iPhone and had to download apps and pics and so forth manually, pain in the *** but at least now it works right. After I was done I did a little research and apparently this is a known issue with no apparently fix down the pipeline so there it is.

It will be fixed by 9.1.

Same issue. Restored iPhone 5 backup to iphone 6s. Having this issue with the calculator as well as the passbook zoomed issue.

I'm having the same issue, calculator crashes when launched from control center, while phone is locked. also noticed the wallet cards are scaled wrong...looking forward to the fix as I'm used to using the calc from lock screen....also have the card issue in wallet.

I have tried everything reset all settings and a full factory reset too, but the answer to this is the pass-lock. as soon as you add lock on your phone the app crashes but noticed that when there was no pass-lock after the reset it worked. Need to go genius bar to see what they say about this. I have a iphone 6s 128gb

Same here. Along with pop email issue this makes this the worst "upgrade" ever. Do Apple read these forums? Embarrassing .....
