Sony Ericsson W950i will not Sync and mount at all

I have the new Sony Ericsson W950i walkman 4G phone and I realise that he is functioning very poor with the mac. He won't mount at all, so you can't use the USB connection. And isync doesn't reconize the phone.
Does someone knowes if this problems will be solved when leopard is on the market? And is there a short therm solution for this item?

PB G4 1.33 and G4 Cube 450 Mac OS X (10.4.8)

I have a SE W950i and my phone mounts when attached by USB and "fast file transfer" is selected in the USB options. I was having problems with the phone only showing up when my mac was re-started. Tracked this down to having installed K750i Grabber as part of Dreamsicle (software for syncing iTunes on a Walkman phone - doesn't work with W950). W950i should mount as a mass storage device when using fast file transfer.
