iPhone 6S plus screen issue

I just tested my iPhone 6s SG 64GB with the APP "Display Test Pattern" and on dark grey full color screen i recognized the same backlight issue on the top of the screen. So most likely this is no hardware error, maybe its just the screen they use.

I won't start a replacement process, as there most likely will be no difference on the new device.

I'm from latinamerica and also have the same problem with my iphone 6s plus 128 gb rose gold. Mine is subtle but it's ashame that apple sells this bad products! And International iphone warranty does not exist. I may be inclined to crack open my phone and try to unplug and plug the screen flex. Maybe it could work.

Exactly the same issue here. Vodafone replaced my 6s in February on warranty. The new device had none of this gray spots until now. Roughly a month after the replacement they appear again on a completely new device 😠

I have this issue on my iPhone 6S. My phone has worked great since I bought it on the release date, until yesterday when the left side of my screen began changing brightness levels while the right side maintained a steady brightness level. If I squeeze my phone from the sides at the top of the screen it causes a dark gray dimness to radiate from the center of the screen toward the corner.

I'm taking my phone to Apple Genius Bar tomorrow. I used a second phone to take numerous pictures and video of the issue because I hate being asked to replicate an intermittent issue so that a 22 year old can tell me looks like everything is working the way it should.

It looks like 3D touch technology affected something on the new iPhone display. I suspect it can be the fact it got a bit more thick to comport the sensors for 3d touch, and, somehow, it may have uneven the illumination of the display.

I'm going to try a replacement tomorrow, since my unit has the uneven illumination on the top, and also a greyed area on the bottom left. I simply can't stand that, once my old iPhone 6 Plus 128Gb has a perfect display.

Should remember you guys we brazilians have the most expensive iPhone in the World! Mine cost the equivalent to US$1365,00 (R$4899,00).

Hope Apple can fix this soon, preferably changing for new iPhone non-defective.

I tried getting a replacement, and both times the replacement screen was worse than the screen I came in with. It had even more noticeable unevenness and there was one of them actually had a weird back light bleed "line" at the top.

The genius said they couldn't see it and I can either choose to have my old screen back or keep the new one.

THis is the first time I've left a Genius Bar disappointed.

Hey mrluca how did you fix your issue ? I have the same problem with my screen at top left corner?

I have exactly the same issue and I'm of the same opinion that as we are paying a fortune for buying this phone it should be perfect. Dear Apple, hope you're listening.

Well I have an iPhone 6

I constantly have issues with the screen going dim all of a sudden and it freezes too

This has only happened since the last or last but one update

I am sick of this phone although I love Apple but it's been very flaky and it's already been back to Apple once and so called been fixed lol

I have no faith or interest anymore
