i recently purchased iPad Air. I joined online course which publishes video for online streaming as well as providing link to download them for offline viewing. When opened in safari, the link to download disappear. Pls help how can I download? The university is legally permitting to download. Then what's problem for Apple in allowing me to download.

Thanks for the replies. I don't mind to use third party apps to download videos. My problem is different. I get mails from the online universities regarding the course content. When I click the url, it opens automatically in Safari only. They provide the option of downloading of videos, but in safari it is not showing.
It is fine viewing the streaming videos. When I want to view it once again, i have to do it online only which eats my data usage.
Can I change the settings in a way that the link provided in the mail opens in another browser when clicked?

You cannot change the default browser from Safari. ðŸ˜
You need to copy and paste the link to the browser you want to use.
