iphone 6s live photo does not get sound

I have my ringer on, but still no sound on my live photo. However, the live photo in my camera roll works. The sound stopped working when I put the photo on my lock screen wallpaper. (I have an iPhone 7)
One thing which was not evident and only found by reading postings on several non-official Apple sites is that to hear the sound for a live photo you need to press and hold on the photo. Apple could have stated this somewhere!!
NO sound gets recorded/played with Live Photo on my 6S. All other audio on the phone is working!
Just discovered that if your ringer is on vibrate, this kills the Live Photo sound. As this is NOT true for sound from other video sources including iPhone- recorded movies, this is an insane, non-intuitive design decision!

Had this on mine. Check you haven't switched the ringer off with the side switch. I switched the mute off and the sound returned.
