Absolutely, I am having challenges. I had a 4s, which had much better reception. In my office, I had 75% signal and now I only have 1 bar. I can't use data and my calls have been dropped. I have a 5S as well, which sits right next to my 6s. The 5s has 4 bars, the 6s has 1. Two different carriers, but I never had the problem with the 4s!! I have tried with and without LTE on for voice.

I don't think Apple has an answer for this yet. My worst fear is that it's somehow hardware design related which means it most likely will not get fixed.

Per the suggestion from the "genius" who helped you, I have been thinking about resetting my phone and setting it up as a new phone just to start fresh. Just need to back up my data to my computer and then reload whatever I need back in.

One thing I learned today is how to monitor my signal strength using Field Test Mode to show me actual numbers instead of dots. Here are instructions - http://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-see-your-iphones-true-cell-signal-strength -2014-11

I have experienced dropped calls and slow data loading on my 6s too and it is SO frustrating!! I actually had the phone replaced with another brand new one and it still drops calls and loads data slowly. It does not sound like replacing the SIM card helps at all. I have already tried resetting the network settings but that did not help. I have Voice & Data enabled for LTE - it looks like some people are suggesting turning that on for Data only and/or building the phone back up from scratch instead of a restore?

Yes lisakate08, those are the prescribed fixes that I'm aware of but I'm not sure that they will fix the issue.

One thing I did was swap the SIM card from my 6s into my 5s to see what the signal strength was like on the old phone using Field Test Mode. Both phones reported the same signal strength in places where I'm at the most (and therefore experience the issue the most). This leads me to a possible conclusion that it's not a signal strength issue but something else.

Is anyone still having this issue? I got my iPhone 6s about a week ago, and I realized that I'm facing the same issues.

Before, I had an LG G3. And my signal strength in my apartment has dramatically dropped. I used to get full bars, but now I get 2. Also, my bars are constantly fluctuating from 1 to 5 as I walk around. I'm a college student, and I never had issues with phone signal until now on campus.

Same problem (ARGGGGHH!) Had the 6, "upgraded" to the 6S and now can hardly hold an intelligible conversation! I get 1 to 2 bars in the office and 2 bars at home where I used to have excellent reception. Interestingly enough my co-worker sits next to me and has SPRINT as I do but she has the 6S+ and has 5 bars! What the HECK?? I am extremely frustrated by this and do not want to have to do an iOS upgrade.

I just upgraded to iPhone 6. Now I am sorry that I did. I have a mini iPad which shows 4 bars, my old 4S iPhone which shows 4 bars, and the new iPhone 6 which shows 1 bar ! All here in my home office at the same location and all upgraded to V9.2 ! I have only had it a couple of days. May be returning, pay the $35 restock charge and go back to my old 4S. Real disappointed, no wonder Apple's stock is falling ....

I had a 4s and a 5s and never had issues with reception in my home office. I am now on my second 6s because I exchanged the first one thinking it was defective. I'm having the same issues with the second 6s. I miss 30% of my calls. They go directly to voicemail. According to callers, they hear 10 rings first, and my phone never rings. The phone doesn't indicate missed calls in those instances either. With the 6s I've also experienced sound quality on phone calls that is so poor that I cannot understand the person at the other end. Everything else about the phone is great - speed, display, apps, but it is lousy as a phone! I'm taking it back to the store today. Do I get an iPhone 6 or give up on Apple (and all the apps I've purchased) and make the leap to Android, abandoning my iTunes account? BTW I have read that the 6s antennae is too small and that's why we're all having these issues. Come on, Apple! Do a recall or something!
