Logic Pro 9 after reinstalling?

Hi

I've recently had to erase the hard drive on my Macbook Pro and reinstall Mavericks, which means I've lost all my apps. Most of them appear in the 'purchased' section of the App Store, but not Logic Pro 9. I've tried signing out and signing in again, but that doesn't seem to work. I'm aware that Logic Pro 9 is no longer available to purchase, but given that I bought the app I should presumably be able to access it after a crash?

Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

Nope, once an app officially hits "End Of Life" with Apple, the support is gone. That includes selling it in the app store. You should have a backup on your system drive, it should be there if you do. But aside from that, no, discontinued items are not supported nor sold.

LP9 is still available via the App store under the Purchased tab so long as.....

1) You bought the App store version originally and not the Boxed Logic Studio DVD version...

and..

2) You are signed into the Mac App Store using the same Apple ID you used to purchase LP9 originally.

If both those are true and it still does not appear, contact Apple directly and ask for assistance...
