iPhone 6s Plus battery percentage getting stuck

I can confirm that this has happened on both iPhone 6s' I have had. Both of them were set up as new, not from a back up.

iphone 6s plus 64g the problem showed up the first time today.

The battery was showing 24% after charging overnight. Restart the phone, and the phone is showing 98%.

Last night my 6s started this problem. I only got it on the 3/10/15

has anyone been told by apple when it will be fixed?

Hello, I have the same issue ... 😟 and I don't want to change because I have the TSMC chip !

I let my phone completely die until it turned off, then charged it completely. Since then the battery charge hasn't gotten stuck This may be a fix.

I have the same issue, it started when i upgrade to version 9.0

I've done several complete charges and discharges and continue to have the same problem.

ive just done this so will see how it goes

any reply from Apple? Seems lot of ppl got the same problem.

talked to apple today engineers are working on a fix they say they need more people to call in with this problem so if you have not called apple please do so it will only help everyone

I hv same issue as my iPhone 6s Plus and was shocked when it went dead although battery indicator was showing 32%. Also time since last recharge only indicate "-" 😠

I having same problem... the battery life is constantly getting stuck. I have attempted every solution offered by online chat support however nothing has solved the defect. The last attempt was reset to factory settings and not restore from backup. I still had same issue so it appears to be an iOS 9 or hardware issue. I am waiting on my appointment at Apple Store.

Thanks for letting us know this. I am having this problem on my second iPhone 6S. I brought my first one to the apple store last Friday. They could not find out what happened and gave me a new one, also the store people filed a report. The second one has the same issue.My wife's 6S has no issue at all! For me, this feels like a software issue. If this is a hardware issue, like battery, they should do a recall like they did for iPhone 5.
