MainStage 3.2.1 preset loading issues- "No document could be created. The file isn’t in the correct format."

Everything works for me. Even the quick start guitar concert loads just fine. What audio interface are you using? Did you try sending in feedback to see if anyone at Apple can help?

Hi I have exactly the same problem. Updated mainstage last night and now I cant load any of my previous concerts and I cant create a new one from any template. The application is now completely non functional. Looks like this is a common problem...Help!

Machine is MacBook pro 2013 2.4 Yosemite.

Yes you are not the only one with this and the issue is more than that !!! 😟

This is not a good update and the issues of 3.2 are here !! Shame !!

I Just restore only Mainstage.app from a previous TimeMachine backup and problem solved.

I´m not going to update my "Mainstage" again.

Yeh same problem for me too. Cant seem to get it to work at all. Lets just hope apple see this thread soon and release a fix.

Hi guys, I see the same problem, but I found if I set my audio device to either "none" or to an audio device that has more than 2 input channels it opens fine. I also found that once I save the concert in 3.2.1 it opens fine again after that independent of what I have my audio device set to.

Almost the same problem, when I try to open my old concert either from MainStage or from the finder it gives me this message: The document couldn't be open. The file isn't in the correct format. (Sorry if the translation isn't perfect the message is in french for me).

BIG PROBLEM I have rehearsal tonight and concerts this weekend end and I will never have the time to rebuild all off my concert...

Please Apple Fix this quickly!

Hi you should do what RC tech says. Go to preferences select no input and read in your preset....save it to a new file name and then go back into audio and set it up how you want it. the new preset you created should work ok. It did for me. Basically convert all of your presets with the audio in set to none and then you can use them as normal after you have set audio as normal. You should be ok for your gig.

You mean restore the whole mainstage installation or just restore the concert file? If you’re talking about the mainstage file I already downloaded an old version from my server but it still

I was talking about the whole mainstage (using TimeMachine, replacing the MainsTage.app).

That works for me.
