Secure Empty Trash missing on El Capitan

Just installed El Capitan and discovered that the Secure Empty Trash feature is missing. Anyone know how to get this back?

I don't know about your Mac Pro, but I activated Filevault (the latest version on El Capitan) on my old backup laptop -- a mid-2010 Macbook. It worked just fine... totally transparent.

According to intel the Nehalem xeon processor in the 2010 Mac Pro has encryption support in the chip.

Have you tried FileVault 2 and found it did not work? Or you got bad performance?
