In test messaging where it should show my typing it shows a timer bar with 0:00 at the end and when I type nothing shows until I hit send the message does go thru but I can't see my typing. What did I push for this to happen?

had the same issue.. rebooting only worked for a short period of time.. the following seemed to work.
go to settings, messages, and turn on character count...
I have the same issue. Actually, the typing is in the background, the grey "box" with the 0:00 is an overlay...if your text is long enough you start seeing it behind the box after the first carriage return...looking for the reason and the fix...
