So far adjusting to all the MANY changes but just got the following message...
iBooks Can't Access Your Library
Make sure the disk containing your library is connected, then click Try Again.
Library Location: (null)
You can also reset your library, then sign in to view and re-download your purchased books.
Any workaround or should I just wait for Apple update??

Had the same problem and LWII's steps worked for me.
Seems like Apple needs to seriously re-work keychain. I have non stop trouble with Apple's systems syncing between my devices and functionality like continuity just not working.
None of the postet solutions worked for my "Location of the iBooks-Library: (null)"-problem!
Thats frustrating.
I have followed these steps to the letter three times and ibooks keeps losing the library! When will there be a fix from Apple - Obviously there is a huge problem that we cannot fix. I am so tired of importing my 1000+ books everytime. Fix this!
I had to reset iBooks as described in https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7252149?answerId=29021775022#29021775022 AND reset ACLs as described in https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7252149?answerId=29109987022#29109987022. I could then re-import the .epub files into iBooks. (Just performing the steps in the first link still left the .epub files with weird permissions that prevented them from being opened or re-imported.) Maybe Apple needs to bring back "Repair Permissions."
I followed all the steps. Restarted and then launched iBooks. It gave me the same error message.
The problem is that when I press reset library, it doesn't do so,and the same error message is coming again and again.
Even the try again button isn't doing anything , The same error is coming up.

it worked perfectly fine after I followed all the steps as detailed, I just had to copy all my pdf books back again, I have all my collection back...
I followed the steps and it didn't work when I tried to add to library it still didn't work. However when I opened a book it added to my library. So I selected blocks of them at a time (Shift Select, etc) and it made them all appear. Thanks LWII!

Tried everything and nothing worked for me.
When i try to log on ibooks with my appleid, i got the spinning wheel left to my apple id spinning forever, nothing else.
The problem is the same for iTunes.

Well, things still do not work. Some purchased iBooks fail to download to my Mac. Been in contact with Apple some time ago but to no avail. Apple told me to call. Already spent a lot of time on the phone without coming to a solution. Sent Apple additional info and filled out the review where they also ask if I would like to get email support (of course I do!) but Apple never contacted me. Since the problem does not appear to go away anytime soon buying books through the Apple Store is out of the question.
