I recently updated to OS X El Capitan and when i went o look at my notification widgets i noticed that the world clock widget was missing . i tried restarting the computer ,but still it does not show up . please help me fix this problem for it is annoying me and i want it fix . thanks for your help.

I still have that widget, but unable to add any clock.
It is the most buggy version indeed.
I Know man , it's like frustrating Apple has all these beta testers but do they actually test they software ? I think most of these people just want it just to say they have the latest software , I wish they had real people who would actually tell them everything that's wrong with their system , it's Sad that when you update

I have the World Clock widget in Dashboard.
1st, click on the Edit button at the bottom of the Notifications.
2nd, add the World Clock, then click Done.
3rd, click on the i button to add another clock for your location and then delete the one for Cupertino
4th, Try using the Help screens:

I deleted the existing clock at first, then I failed to add any clock.
I did exactly as you described.
That's so weird.
my problem is that the widget is Not listed as a choice when I click on edit to add a widget . I know how to add them , it's just not listed .
I may have found a solution for you while struggling to fix my problem.
Go to the folder /System/Library/Frameworks/NotificationCenter.framework/PlugIns/
and to see if there is "com.apple.ncplugin.WorldClock.appex"
If so, double click it then you'll find back your world clock plugin.
However, I still cannot add any clock, shame...
So, when you press the "i" button, you don't get a clock with a + sign in it?
I do have the add button, and after choosing a location, nothing happened (no clock is added).
After pressing the + sign, as you type the name of the location, does a list a names appear?

I typed several characters, and selected one from the list.
Aha! I finally FIXED it!!!!
It is the update but not clean install that caused the problem.
The problem is the configuration file incompatible.
Well, the solution is simple, go to
~/Library/Containers/
and delete every folder beginning with com.apple.ncplugin.
I bet the testing stuff only tested the clean reinstalled version, but not the updated one.

Well, I have the same problem.
I can add or remove the widget, but clocks do not display, and I have not the "i" button
Delete the com.apple.ncplugin.WorldClock.appex did not work.
Any idea ?
