Recovery partition missing on OS X El Capitan

Hello,

Just did a clean install of El Capitan on my rMBR (Early 2013) to find that the recovery partition is missing! Anyone else facing the same issue? This is how I made the bootable USB drive of El Capitan.

Terminal command:

sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app --nointeraction

same issue here... old mac mini doesn't boot and a folder is flashing with a question mark.

I tried all the startup key combinations and the only one that works is Startup manager (option key).

From there i can only connect to my wifi network, nothing else...

I tried what you said, cmd-R from the startup mode, but nothing happens :-(

Did you do something "special" to jump into Recovery mode from there ?

THX
