where does it tell you the cost of an in app purchase
I wanted a free download of a world clock, but the one I liked the look of
said it was an in app purchase. That's ok, but where does it show the cost?

If you found it via the App Store on your iPhone:
Tap on the name or preview image of the app > scroll down - below the description - to where it says "In-App Purchases" > tap this to see all in-app purchases and their prices.
