Try posting in your own language. Unfortunately your English is illegible. Do the same when corresponding with Apple.

I've been checking these forums daily for problems updating to iOS 9.0.1 then 9.0.2. My iPhone 6 plus attempted to download via cellular in Settings -Cellular, I turned off cellular update in Settings which stopped that update cold. I deny all requests to update when on wifi.

I'm happy using iOS 8.4.1 until this is fixed..

I'm not sure if this statement is correct, here it goes. If you backed up your entire iPhone directly to iTunes prior to this update why cant you restore to that last backup? The only issue I see are people whom do not backup the entire phone and think a backup to iCloud is the same.

FWIW, the wheel in Software Update is spinning but not downloading in either wifi or cellular.. Once the new update is offered I'll wait to see how everyone else using iPhone 6 plus, updates are doing and/or if they're reporting problems.. Only after fully vetting the new update, will I allow it to do so on my phone.. I've learned a lesson a few years back and won't make that mistake twice.

Even using 8.4.1, I notice more battery drain then usual. Moreover, I have been using my 6 + more now, then before.. Lazy I think.

In closing and for the record, I'm not an expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.. Sorry I couldn't resist.

That is like checking a hospital to determine the overall state of health in the world. Most user come here if they have issues and wish to troubleshoot them. They would represent such a tiny minority of Apple users in the world that it most often is irrelevant, and comes back to a User, Third Party incompatibility or Hardware issue. You should check all the ones here marked solved as well to make sure you have an overall picture of peoples issues here with iOS9.0.1 and iOS9.0.2. Waiting on another update is useless as there will be as there have been, users who experience issues o ay and every upgrade or update ever.

Just stay with the iOS you have and are happy with, as you can't go back.

For the record we have almost 60 iOS devices here and not a single issue on any of them. That's a 100% success rate here.

Cheers

it would have been better if Apple simply said that IOS 9.0.2 either was not ready for prime time or simple not suitable for the iPad 2.

SInce upgrading my ipad crashes continuously especially when using safari which is now pig as a browser.

Slow, jerky and prone to simply crashing after just a few minutes of use. The system hesitates, freezes up - i am forced to close down apps just to keep the iPad running.

would llove to have the ability to roll back this upgrade ...

a truely sucky upgrade - not worthy of Apple

9.0.2 is flat out the worst IOS "upgrade" I've ever made to my iPhone 5S. Fortunately I held off "upgrading" to 9.0.2 on my iPad Air2. Won't happen.

"Custom" alert in Calendar: Gone. (Yep...spent 2-hours with a Senior Apple Technician...MIA).

Siri: Sound notification after home button is pressed to activate Siri: Gone.

Siri functionality has significantly been degraded: Navigation is all but missing...near zero response even with 4G. Google nav continues to work great though.

"Hey Siri": Fully set-up; zero functionality.

Press Home button to get to locked screen: Sluggish and significantly slower than 8.x.x

Was told at the Apple Store they typically need to install/restore/re-install IOS updates and recommended I do same. Did it and zero change.

Can I just have 8.x.x back Apple?

To All,

This morning we found out that 9.0.2 does not serve well as a hotspot. Attempts to get mail or use Safari just spun the gear. My wife’s iPhone is still on iOS 8 and we successfully used it as a hotspot.

To Mey Leong: I understand most of what you are writing. You are doing quite well, and probably far better than I have done in the foreign languages I have used.

To Pete: Apple Phone Support can be very helpful, but how many people want to spend maybe a half-hour waiting to talk to someone and who knows how long to resolve the problem. The support personnel are very patient and work hard to resolve user problems. But how many of us want to spend that time to resolve an issue that should never have occurred?

It is great that you are having no problem with iOS 9.0.2 on your 60 iPhones. If any of these are successfully updating podcast episodes, please share with the rest of us what steps your users are taking to get these new episodes. The same goes for using the iPhones as hotspots.

I have also looked at the latest iPhone User Guide. What is on the example screen is not what is on my screen.

I don’t really know how I did it, but I am waiting for the last of twelve or so podcasts to download.

I did go to the iTunes store on my MacBook Air and downloaded one episode of one podcast.

Then on my iPhone I looked at Podcast settings and everything looked as it should.

For some reason I dragged the My Podcasts screen down and found that it was downloading podcasts!?!

Now if I could be sure I can duplicate it this coming weekend.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for your thoughts. Here's one for you: iMessage keeps bumping out and will constantly spin and "verify". My 4s has the latest 9.0.2 software, I have reset the network connections, I have reset my Apple password, and restarted the phone numerous times. This has been going on for 2 weeks now.

Any suggestions?

iOS 9.0.2
