Removing "hyperlink" icon

Sorry, I am total beginner to creating my own website etc. and I still get stuck frequently. I am using lots of hyperlinks on the website I am creating (i.e. different navigation buttons with images etc.)
Now I am trying to find a way to make that little blue round arrow that marks it as a hyperlink disappear.
Is there any way to so this?

Hi Aniteb,

Welcome to the iWeb forums.

No worries about the 'little blue arrow'; it disappears once you publish your site. It's only there at this point as a reminder that you have hyperlinked that particular shape.

Allow me also to refer you to an excellant site outlining FAQ on iWeb, found here, compiled by Varkgirl.

Folks here are very helpful; post anytime you have questions or remarks.

aniteb,

The little round blue hyperlink arrow you refer to will only show in your iWeb development program, it will not show once you publish the site. It is just for your reference as the web developer to show you what is activated as a hyperlink. Once you publish your site, visitors will not see it.

Hope this helps.

Todd
