Removing "hyperlink" icon

Hi Aniteb,

Welcome to the iWeb forums.

No worries about the 'little blue arrow'; it disappears once you publish your site. It's only there at this point as a reminder that you have hyperlinked that particular shape.

The little round blue hyperlink arrow you refer to will only show in your iWeb development program, it will not show once you publish the site. It is just for your reference as the web developer to show you what is activated as a hyperlink. Once you publish your site, visitors will not see it.

Hi Mark,
I think you are the one to help me...

My site displays the "red 'x' on a white square" usually seen before a bitmap loads and unwanted text overtop of my images...but only on the home page.

wait- it is still happening. I closed down iweb and It looks fine when I view it, but I called a friend who has a pc; it's still there when he views my page...but again, the errors are only appearing on the home page.

that is just a little thing added by iweb when you are editing the site so you can remember that is a link...

once you publish the site the link sign will disappear.
