Looking again, I see you are on El Capitan. Alfred was updated on 21 Sept to a new version 2.8. which is suitable for El C. You can always approach the developer, too, via their contact address. I've found them most agreeable.

I am experiencing the SAME problem with several apps I purchased recently. Apple support is USELESS. First, I had to erase my drive just to install El Capitan since I tried to install it and bricked my computer. And now this!? Does anybody have a solution?

Looks like El Capitan is just like a NCO, not a Captain. Got the same problem when trying to update iPhoto...

I'm getting the same error on everything I am trying to download on Mavericks, so it's not the new OS. Must be an App Store malfunction.

I was running the beta before doing a fresh install on my macbook Knights of the Old Republic just says "an error has occurred". I'm getting ****** because I have tried everything I can think of. I hope someone figures this out

I am a dev myself and I am affected. The error is "Unathorized". Here is the debug log from CommerceKit (defaults write com.apple.appstore ShowDebugMenu -bool YES) + turn on the debugging in the menu.

Hello Gents,

I am facing the same issue, and this is not only with Caffeine but also with SSH Tunnel Manager, and some other applications (not all).

Do you have any fix for this issue ? this is really annoying!!!
